Ryuta conducted research in organic synthesis at the Tokyo University of Science Graduate School before working as a corporate relationship manager (RM) at Mizuho Bank. He later joined Fukuoka City’s startup support facility, “Fukuoka Growth Next,” where he was responsible for finance-related support and university collaboration.

Subsequently, he worked at Kyushu University’s industry-academia collaboration teams, “Kyudai OIP Co., Ltd.” and “EUV Photon Co., Ltd.,” promoting fundraising for the EUV Irradiation Center initiative. Simultaneously, he collaborated with a professor from the University of Tokyo to commercialize photon upconversion materials.

He joined UntroD Capital Japan, which manages the Real Tech Fund In 2024, as Kyushu Area Region Manager. He focuses on discovering and nurturing technology seeds originating from the region and fostering a startup ecosystem.
