Kenichi joined UntroD Capital Japan as Growth Manager in 2026.

After graduating from university, he began his career at the Kyoto Shinkin Bank, where he spent approximately ten years in corporate sales. Serving a broad range of clients from mid-sized and small enterprises to sole proprietors, he focused on loan proposals and fundraising support grounded in business feasibility assessments, providing financial support tailored to each company’s growth stage. Looking beyond financial statements to identify issues in light of a company’s business, market environment, and growth potential, he supported corporate management from a financial standpoint. He is now dedicated to turning innovative technologies and research results latent in the region into viable businesses, working to create and grow deep-tech startups originating from Kyoto and the Kansai area.
